| A sound piece installed in a space with eight computer speakers, a number of electronic components, four IR sensor module and the audience.
Visitors will walk the room, see the speakers, hear nothing and think as they are moving that this piece is not working. They are unconscious of that they are reveling for the other visitors what this artwork could be about. I like the problematic of showing something that does not want to be shown but to be able to talk about it, it has to communicate just that. Which i contradicting and nice. The eight speakers is placed on small shelfs, two on each wall. The electronics is stored in a box in the sealing, out of sight for the visitors. The four IR sensors is placed in the corner of the sealing to be able to cover the room. As the power is entering the circuit box the first of the ten cards is transforming the power to 5 volts and sending it forward to the eight cards which is handling the speakers rhythm. |
